About This Trek
Jebel Musa — Mount Sinai, or Moses' Mountain — stands 2,285 metres above sea level at the heart of the Sinai Peninsula. For Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike, it is one of the holiest sites on earth.
You ascend at night, following a well-worn trail by torchlight, arriving at the summit just as the first light breaks over the mountains of Saudi Arabia and Jordan. It is, without exception, one of the most moving experiences travelers in this region ever have.
The trip also includes a morning visit to St. Catherine's Monastery — a UNESCO World Heritage Site continuously inhabited since 565 AD.
